The CIPD is made up of more than 150,000 members representing the people profession at every level and across all sectors in every region and nation in the UK
In order to support our members and the CIPD activity in the market, we created local communities, our regions, nations and our network of local branches.
Our nations and regions are headed up by in-market teams who will not only support you and make sure your voice is heard as a people professional but they engage and build relationships with wider HR communities and networks, employers, HR Leaders, Government agencies and academic centres to ensure our work reflects the diversity and needs of members across the UK. Our local branches are driven by CIPD members who volunteer their time, skills and experience to support CIPD’s charitable purpose and who work closely with and alongside the UK Nations and Regions team to Champion Better Work and Working Lives.
