Benefits of CIPD membership
CIPD membership gives you access to many platforms for networking and staying informed
Our network of local branches creates one of the most vibrant and engaging face-to-face communities for people professionals across the UK. With over 1,000 CPD, learning and networking activities across the year, the branches are one of our strongest channels to engage and support the profession
In order to support our members and the CIPD activity in the market, we created local communities, our regions, nations and our network of local branches.
We have a thriving network of local branches that are run by CIPD members who are people professionals and are volunteering their spare time, their skills, talent and experience in support of our charitable purpose of Championing Better Work and Working Lives. Our branch committee members dedicate their time to extend the voice of CIPD through a portfolio of events, programmes and activities dedicated to engaging and supporting local CIPD members, non-members and students.
As CIPD's most important face to face channel to connect and engage with the profession, the Branch Network continues to evolve in terms of the value it brings to CIPD and to everyone that engages with it.
Find your branch below to read more about their work in your area, their current activities and the events lined up in their calendar and how you can get involved.
Due to the current coronavirus situation we have made the decision to postpone or cancel all face to face branch events until the end of June 2020. Some branches will deliver sessions via virtual means and we ask you to check with the individual branch directly regarding their programme of events. Thank you for your support at this time.
If you are experiencing issues using the interactive map, use this Branches listing page to access the branch you are looking for.
The primary purpose of our branches is to act as a channel for CIPD member and potential member engagement at a local level, in accordance with the CIPD's strategic priorities and in support of its purpose by creating local networks for practitioners, drive engagement and learning activities to build capability engage people professionals across all levels of experience, sectors and specialisms every year.
