The CIPD's EmbRACE group
Encouraging conversations about race, to promote understanding and to collaborate with the wider organisation to create a healthy and inclusive working environment
Providing opportunities to learn, work flexibly, and promote health and well-being
As an organisation that represents the People Profession, it's vital that our people are the best. Feedback from people who work here consistently tells us that the finest thing about working for the CIPD is, well, our people!
We want our people to feel supported and inspired at the CIPD, whatever their role.
We offer a generous annual 28 days’ holiday (on top of bank holidays) and the ability to work flexibly. Our award-winning pension scheme is available to all, as is access to our Employee Assistance Programme and Financial Well-being Hub.
Everyone's entitled to an annual personal development allowance as well as supported, paid time for volunteering. And with Discovery Hours and Lunch & Learns offering the opportunity to discuss the latest thinking about what’s going on in the business and in the wider world of work, alongside a free, well-balanced lunch and a Cycle2Work scheme, we make sure there is ample opportunity to keep both your brain and body healthy.
Finally, because we know a big part of feeling happy in your job comes from knowing your hard work is being noticed and recognised, we run a recognition scheme to reward and recognise the shining stars of our organisation who really live and breathe our values.
To achieve our ambitions, we need a diverse workforce who can offer a range of skills and perspectives. We have a number of thriving colleague networks including LGBT+, ethnic minority representation, well-being, faith, gender and disability. These groups all sit within our Diversity & Inclusion Steering Group, which meets six times per year to share ideas, support one another and give the business their steer on key initiatives.

Building awareness and understanding about LGBT perspectives in the workplace and taking joint responsibility for championing a healthy and inclusive organisation
We have four offices around the world but our headquarters are in Wimbledon, South West London. Wimbledon is a bustling town, with direct links into Central London by both train and tube. Our international offices in Dubai, Singapore and Dublin ensure our reach is truly international.
